About Allspice pimento
Allspice (Pimenta dioica), also called pimento, is the dried berry of a Caribbean evergreen tree. Its flavour tastes like a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in one spice, which is where the name comes from. It is the heart of Jamaican jerk seasoning.
