About Ajwain seeds
Ajwain, or carom seeds, are the tiny ridged seeds of Trachyspermum ammi. They look like celery seed but taste sharp and thyme-like, and they are a staple in Indian, Pakistani and Ethiopian cooking, especially in breads, lentils and snacks.
